Phil Ruggles is the 1st team manager of Ash United FC. A former player at Woking FC, Basingstoke Town FC, Leatherhead FC and Molesey Fc, then moved across to New Zealand for 3 years where he played for Ngaruawahia Fc and Waikato.

Having so far managed Knaphill FC, winning promotion from the combined counties into the premier division, followed by a stint at Eversley and California FC where they reached the combined counties league cup final.

Most recently Phil has been manager of Godalming Town FC for 3 seasons, where they achieved success with 2 cups and also reaching the play offs I’m the Southern Combination League.

Phil is now hoping to build on that success with Ash.
